HP Sprocket
15 November 2017. We get a brief to sell more HP Sprockets for Christmas after a very successful and viral launch that garnered more than a million views. The Sprocket app’s AR function was the highlight.
28 November. An idea is chosen and the first script draft is out. 1 Dec. Change of brief, they need new ideas, we give them new ideas. 4 Dec. A new idea is chosen. 6 Dec. Shared script and storyboard. 11 Dec. Final PPM. 12 Dec. Shoot with a cast of 15 people, and 5 set changes all on the day of our office Christmas party. 14 Dec. Offline. 15 Dec. Final revision. 17 Dec. Online. 18 Dec. FINAL OUTPUT.
Despite the madness, this was the funnest shoot ever and it’s here for solely for that.
The result of all this cray? ~423k views on Facebook. Definitely not as many as the original, but not too shabby, if I must say so myself.
